Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ClearPath Development ("ClearPath," "we") handles information in two areas: (1) this website and our advisory services, and (2) our internal publishing tool that uses Google APIs. We keep it plain and short on purpose.

1. Information you give us on this site

When you submit a form on this site (for example, a property address and your contact information to request a Read), we use that information to respond to you and deliver the service you asked for. We do not sell your information. We do not share your contact information with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law.

Forms and email delivery run on the infrastructure of our website host and email providers, which process the data on our behalf to deliver your message to us. Our host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and operations.

2. Client confidentiality

For paid engagements, we treat your property address, the existence of the engagement, and your personal contact information as confidential, as described in our Service Terms. We may use anonymized, address-redacted findings for internal benchmarking and marketing illustrations with no identifiable details.

3. Our internal publishing tool and Google user data

ClearPath and its affiliated construction brand operate an internal, single-operator desktop application ("Gilbert YT Uploader") that uses Google's YouTube Data API to upload and schedule videos to YouTube channels that we ourselves own and operate. This section describes how that application handles Google user data.

• What it accesses. With the operator's explicit OAuth consent, the application accesses the operator's own YouTube account data: channel identity, and the ability to upload and manage videos and captions on the operator's own channels.
• How it uses the data. Solely to upload, schedule, and manage videos and their metadata on our own YouTube channels. Nothing else.
• Where the data lives. OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer with restricted file permissions, on an encrypted disk. No Google user data is transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate, and no Google user data is stored in any database.
• Sharing. We do not sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third party. No advertising use, no data brokers, no AI model training with Google user data.
• Human access. Only the operator (the account owner) can access the tokens, and only on their own machine.
• Retention and deletion. Tokens remain until the operator deletes the local token files or revokes the application's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, either of which immediately ends the application's access.

Limited Use disclosure. Gilbert YT Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site does not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and this policy will be updated first.

5. Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@clearpath-dev.com. California residents have these rights under state law and we honor them for everyone.

6. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
